LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police arrested a 56-year-old Lathrop resident Wednesday night on suspicion of possession of black tar heroin, the department reported.
A Livermore officer saw a car driving through a closed auto dealership at 11 p.m. Wednesday, the LPD said in a Facebook post. The officer found nearly four ounces of black-tar heroin packaged for sale on the driver and in his car, LPD said. The officer also found ID cards that did not belong to the man.
The driver was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to sell, misappropriation of lost property, and probation violation. He was taken to Santa Rita Jail.
