LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Orange County rose six-tenths of a cent to $4.653, one day after increasing two-tenths of a cent.
It is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago, 1.2 cents higher than one month ago and $1.233 greater than one year ago.
In Laguna Beach, the closest cheap gas was on 31702 Pacific Coast Highway at $4.54 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.
The Orange County average price has decreased 3.6 cents since rising to $4.689 on Nov. 26, one-tenth of a cent less than the record set on Oct. 8, 2012.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent for the second consecutive day after dropping seven-tenths of a cent over the previous two days.
The average price of $4.667 is a half-cent less than one week ago and seven-tenths of a cent lower than one month ago but $1.231 higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has decreased 4.9 cents since hitting the record high of $4.716 on Nov. 27.
