At 8 p.m. on Monday, a driver flagged down Westlake police and told them a car spun out near Crocker Road. When officers arrived, several good Samaritans were attempting to push a BMW out of a snow bank. The BMW's driver was a 40-year-old North Olmsted man. According to police, the man was driving alone but only had a temporary permit. He was field tested and then taken into custody for operating a vehicle impaired.
