Here are the top 5 stories today in Atlanta: A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 6-month-old boy, Atlanta police said Thursday. Sharice Michelle Ingram turned herself in at police headquarters Wednesday and was charged with party to the crime of aggravated assault and party to the crime of felony murder. While no information was released on what investigators believe Ingram's role was in the shooting, she is not believed to be the shooter, according to police. Grayson Matthew Fleming-Gray was shot shortly before 3 p.m. Monday while in his car seat in a vehicle near the Food Mart corner store on Anderson Avenue. Less than 24 hours later, Dequasie Johnathan Little, 22, was arrested and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. A public visitation will be held Monday for Grayson from 4-8 p.m. at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home, 1003 Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard. A GoFundMe page was created to assist the family with costs. (Atlanta Patch)Extreme cold temperatures are forecast this weekend in much of North Georgia, with mercury readings reaching as low as the teens in some areas. "We're going to see temperatures drop down to some of the coldest we've seen so far this year," National Weather Service meteorologist Dylan Lusk told Patch. "This is the time of year when we can get these stronger cold fronts. But this weekend will be 10 degrees below what our average temperature is for this time of the year." Tonight will be the coldest for most areas, with temperatures hovering around 20 degrees for much of Metro Atlanta northward. Saturday will remain in the 20s through the night. By Sunday, however, sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s will return. (Atlanta Patch) The official portraits of former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama that permanently hang in the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery have been traveling across the United States, and now they're in Atlanta. Through March 20, the portraits will be on display at the High Museum in a special exhibition. Artist Amy Sherald, a Clark Atlanta University graduate who painted the iconic portrait of First Lady Michelle Obama, told "City Lights" host Lois Reitzes about the distinctive style of French "grisaille" she used for the striking work. (WABE 90.1 FM)Historic Oakland Cemetery in Grant Park is getting a new 10,000-square-foot visitors center. Designed by Smith Dalia Architects, the building will include a museum store, an atrium that will host interpretive exhibits, flexible multipurpose classroom and event space, rentable meeting space, and offices for the organization. "Oakland Cemetery uniquely reflects our city's rich, diverse past, and we have long desired to be an organization that can convene citywide discussions about our collective history and its ever-evolving meaning today," said Historic Oakland Foundation Executive Director Richard Harker. "This new building will allow us to achieve that aspiration." Oakland Cemetery is where Margaret Mitchell, Bobby Jones, former Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson, singer Kenny Rogers and many other Atlanta notables are buried. The initiative is part of Health Zones, CVS Health's new undertaking to provide concentrated local investments to reduce health disparities and advance health equity in high-risk communities across the country. In the Atlanta area, rides with Uber Health will be available to a target population through Good Samaritan Health Center, a nonprofit working to remove the barriers preventing low-income families from obtaining access to quality health care in the Atlanta area, and the Family Health Centers of Georgia, a health care services nonprofit that serves low-income seniors. On Jan. 19, at approximately 1:21 a.m., Atlanta Police responded to a burglary in progress at 51 Elliott St. SW. Upon arrival, Z5 morning watch Officer K. Craddock spoke with the business owner, who advised that the suspect was still inside the location. Officer Craddock entered the business and quickly took control of the situation and apprehended the suspect, later identified as Nouan Phouanesouvanh. During the processing of Phouanesouvanh, he was found to be in possession of a stolen package from a nearby residence. Phouanesouvanh was charged accordingly and later transported to Fulton County Jail without incident. Atlanta Police Department's Burglary Unit will continue to investigate whether Phouanesouvanh is involved in other similar crimes throughout the area.
