Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk - 1st Shift Wage: $15-$17/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am-4pm This is an excellent opportunity for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk on 1st shift with a local company here in Springfield, great hours and great benefits up on hired on. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Logistical planning for outgoing orders - Utilize knowledge to plan, quote, dispatch LTL and Truckload Carries for cost effectiveness - Pick orders, package, and shipping - Receive items by unloading vehicles; accept deliveries; unpack containers Requirements: - Organization, quality management, supply management, deadline-oriented, documentation skills, computer skills, customer service, and reporting skills - Operate a forklift and pallet jack - Operate tools used to measure - Lift 70lbs or less - Drug screen - Work in a team with others - Follow instructions and take direction - Follow personal protective equipment policies - Work in manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and fumes - Fast-paced environment with moving objects, sharp edges, and congested work area - Push, pull, kneel, reach overhead, grasp, and lift up to 70lbs QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
