It was founded by award-winning dog trainer, David Greene, who represented the USA on four world teams, placed third in the World Championships and third in the World Cup with his dogs. This is a unique opportunity for anyone in the dog world to learn top-shelf training philosophy and methodology from the best. We are actively recruiting for an experienced and certified, dog trainer who wants to join a fast-growing company and be part of our awesome team. This is a NEW full-time position. Starting pay is $18.00 to $21.00 an hour depending on experience. Qualified candidates must have: a passion for dogs and people the ability to evaluate a dog’s personality and temperament a balanced dog training methodology using various techniques for basic commands experience in working with dogs experiencing behavioral issues such as human and dog reactivity, anxiety and more the desire to work with dogs and their pet parents the ability to teach parents the training methods needed to maintain the dog training at least 3 years or more of current and/or past experience training a general understanding of canine behaviors and the ability and desire to handle dogs with various personalities the ability to multitask and work efficiently by yourself and with the team the ability to move/stand/bend for the majority of your shift a passion for dogs and patient in the training process If hired, you will be responsible for: working with the training director on a tailored program for dogs in training be responsible for training the dogs assigned teaching pet parents techniques in private lessons and troubleshooting assisting with arrivals/departures A full job description will be provided.
