Fabrication, Construct Channel Letters and for Sign Shop. We have a couple openings in our fabrication shop for people that want to learn and work for a good company. If you like working with your hands, don't mind standing and working for extended periods of time and work at a good pace; we want to talk to you! We manufacture signs for many local and national companies. This position requires the use of routers, hand tools, and sign making equipment. This role would cross-train with other roles in the organization. Essential Responsibilities: Work as a team to deliver high quality products. Background in sign construction is a plus but not required. Machine tools and equipment knowledge is a plus. Must have good communication skills with coworkers Must be able to perform jobs independently. Must be able to monitor supplies and notify management for ordering Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, with reasonable accommodations. Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Standing on concrete or safety padding material for long periods of time. Good knowledge of various types of signs including vinyl, channel letters, and street signs is a plus, but not a requirement. A strong sense of urgency, proactiveness, and self-motivation. Priority consideration for a person with previous sign industry and vinyl experience.
