Hello my name is Melina, I'm in the process of becoming a licensed daycare provider. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education infant Child Mental Health. I was working in Auburn at Childhaven as a therapeutic classroom teacher before loosing my position when temporarily shut down due to COVID-19. Now I'm home doing in home child care while caring for my son who has special needs and 5 year old granddaughter. I was previously licensed when my children were younger. Right now I take care of a 4 year old boy, 6 year old girl, I have a bedroom set up as a play room full of toys and a painted chalk wall for kids to draw on, I have a child sized table to do art projects, outside we ride bikes or scooters, go for walks or just play outside on the trampoline and playground toy. I do have a fully fenced in back yard. I do provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
