I am an Urban Farmer who breeds and raises Barbados Black Belly Sheep for Butcher. This weekend I have a Large male that needs to be culled and Processed and will have a class for anyone that is interested.
The process Takes several hours from start to finish and will involve everything from culling and processing to making Complete cuts of case ready meat AND cleaning and tanning the hide.
The price for the class (snacks/drinks included) is $50 and is hands off.
A more hands on experience and a portion of the meat will cost $250.
I have chicken and sheep butcher classes and will have classes in the future for pigs and goats as well.
