Providence Supportive Housing is seeking an on-site Night/Weekend Manager. Live in a fully renovated unit in the heart of Capitol Hill with parking, for free. This building is on Broadway, across the street from Seattle University and steps from the hospitals. The Night/ Weekend Manager is a LIVE-IN position that provides support and assistance to the Housing Manager and residents of our facility. Residency in the facility is required. This is a non-wage, contracted position. Compensation is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. For this compensation you will need to provide coverage during non-business hours (M-Th 4pm-9am, F 9am-M 9am). The Night/ Weekend Manager provides on-call emergency response services on weekday evenings and weekends when full-time Housing staff is not available or on the premises. In addition, there are minimal daily duties to help ensure the safety and comfort of our community. For example, walking the facility and ensuring all exits and windows are secure at night. Primarily, this position is one of observe & report, unless immediate action is necessary. Ideal candidates would: -have background working with people, such as social work, nursing, caregiving, housing, etc. -be available nights and weekends to respond to emergencies/urgent matters -occasionally available at other agreed upon times/days -capable of remaining calm and making sound decisions during urgent matters -able to safely use a ladder for occasionally replacement of batteries in smoke detectors, shutting off water, light bulb replacement, etc. If interested, please submit a brief resume and explanation of why you would like to be the Night/Weekend Manager by email through Craigslist
