What is the role? • The Wearhouse Worker is a critical member of the team - a gatekeeper. We are looking for a motivated, detail oriented and improvement-oriented team-member, who has strong organizational skills. What will you be doing? • Generating invoices, applying UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL labels accurately • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment including creating shipping labels and manifests • Updating the inventory management system for shipped and returned items • Maintaining & organizing shipping area, labelling inbound and outbound pallets and boxes • Receiving incoming shipments, ensuring the correctness of count against paperwork • Performing inventory counts • Maintaining the inventory and stock rotation system • Following up to ensure no unshipped orders are pending • Inspecting and processing inbound returns • Assisting Manager or Production when necessary What You Must Have • High school or equivalent • Ability to lift packages is a must • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - a must for this position • Strong ability to use computers including warehouse inventory systems, Microsoft Windows and Excel • Must be self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful workplace • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to multi-task and work independently • Familiarity with office equipment (fax, printer, etc.) • Previous experience as a warehouse worker is an asset • Previous basic experience driving a forklift, preferred but not necessary.
