Bass player wanted for ACOUSTIC Classic Rock Cover Band. I know it's a long shot since EVERYONE is looking for a Bass Player, But if you are an Amateur, or maybe a Guitarist who wants to try your hand at playing Bass (Jimmy Page played Bass for The Yard Birds, Ron Wood played Bass for The Faces), lets give it a Go! WE: are playing ACOUSTIC versions of Classic Rock songs by: Neil Young, Eagles, CSNY, CCR, Byrds, America, Stones, Bob Seager, Pink Floyd, The Band, Grateful Dead, Etc. Etc. We are over 50 yrs. old. We don't care how old you are or what you look like, just that you are willing to commit to this project! We are NOT a working Band at this point, but are interested in playing a few Gigs now & then when they become available. WE ARE NOT A JAZZ BAND, WE ARE NOT A BLUES BAND, WE ARE NOT A COUNTRY BAND, WE ARE NOT A HARD ROCK BAND. WE ARE NOT AN ORIGINALS BAND (I only say this because we have had people come down looking for these things. We don't want to waste Your time or ours)! YOU: MUST be reliable, On Time, & Available to Practice 1x a week in Audubon NJ, Willing to play some Open Mics in the beginning till all the material is ready to Gig. Willing to Play a Gig now & then when ready. NOT be addicted to Drugs or Alcohol (If you are in AA & SOBER, you are welcome to Audition). We are NOT looking for someone playing in 2 other Bands. You must be reliable & dedicated & available to THIS project. It's perfectly ok to start out on Electric Bass, but it would be nice if you could get an AC / EL Bass if you become a member of our Band. You don't have to play the Bass parts note for note, just a simple Bass line that adds to the bottom end of the songs. A few parts will need to be done like the record (CCR have you ever seen the rain for example). Have Fun, be part of a Band, & see where we can take this! Give me a call to set up an Audition!
