Flooring Warehouse Assistant: The primary purpose is to schedule, process, and coordinate product pick-up and properly stage product in warehouse (Carpet, Vinyl, Tile, Wood, Laminate floor & laminate CT). A day in the life of a flooring warehouse assistant: Logistics management - help handle flooring materials both shipping and receiving Staging of upcoming jobs - sorting product and staging for delivery or pickup Vendor pick ups - driving to various flooring vendors to pick up materials and bring back to warehouse Inventory counts - assist with stock counts on a weekly rotation Operating both a sit down and stand up forklift to receive and handle material Warehouse organization and cleaning Projects as assigned
