This is an entry level position for someone hungry to learn new skills and bring energy to a fun environment and team. You will have 2-3 years work experience (part-time or full-time) and be punctual, a good listener, hard worker and have a get it done attitude. You will show initiative and be a self-starter but able to take direction and follow written guidelines. The role will also receive direction from the Assembly/QA Manager when the activities/tasks relate to fixture assembly. The successful candidate must possess the skills, experience, and savvy to support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Experience with lighting, design or wholesaling is a bonus but you must have a proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Pick, Pack and Ship Orders o Pick orders from inventory based on Picking List provided by Office Coordinator o Photograph all items for each order (to document what was shipped) o Pack product securely  Wrapping and boxing shipments (for UPS and FEDEX shipping)  Palletizing and crating shipments (for Line Haul shipping) o Place product in pick-up zone for freight companies to collect • Freight Dispatch and Receipt o Loading and unloading of line haul trucks o Requires some heavy lifting and use of pallet jack o Receiving and dispatch also includes paperwork and documenting loads to ensure visibility to others at wakaNINE and our customers. Assemble and Pack Lights o This role included assembly of light fixtures  Some fixtures are delivered to wakaNINE as components  These components are assembled to create the light fixture, then shipped fully assembled to customers for installation  Confidence and comfort with using your hands and assembling components is required to be successful in this role o Many of these assembled lights may require wooden crates to be ordered/built and/or palletized freight General Duties o Sweep Floors / Vacuum o Keep packing / shipping area clean and organized o Break down cardboard and place in recycling dumpster o Break down pallets & crates  Requires light carpentry skills o Hanging and taking down light fixtures from the showroom/display area  Requires comfort with ladders and heights as well as solid understanding of the dangers associated with electricity • Take out trash to garbage dumpster Special Projects o There will also be ad-hoc and project work such as you'd expect in a growing, dynamic company.
