Join our crew performing highway maintenance along the Central Florida Expressway in Orange and Lake County. The position is full-time, permanent with benefits and usually M-F either starting around 6:30 am or 9:30 am (may add overtime or change hours due to bad weather). Willing to train! ...Primary Job Duties... - LOTS of Litter, trash, and roadway debris pick-up ...Possible/Future Job Duties... - Landscaping and mowing, weed control spraying, tree trimming, storm clean-up - Clean, dig, and grade ditches, drainage structures, road shoulders - Fence repair, sign repair - Concrete / asphalt repair and forming, filling potholes - Perform Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) / temporary traffic control - Use bed edgers, commercial mowers (z-turns and bush hogs), tractors, mini-excavators, skid steers, gators, blowers, dump trailers, chain saws, line trimmers, and more ...Requirements... - Valid Florida Driver's License - Personal reliable transportation - Work outdoors in all weather conditions - Work along the CFX (Central Florida Expressway) in Orange and Lake Counties with traffic passing by at varying rates of speed - Work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary - Work scheduled on-call shift during when scheduled on rotation *********Take and pass drug screen, motor vehicle screen, and Federal Background Check********* ...Benefits...
