We are currently seeking a Solar Technician to join our team.
The everyday duties of this job will be solar system troubleshooting, site evaluations, monitoring connection, PTO, system final inspections and submitting permits.
Requirements:
Background knowledge in solar systems
Electrical wiring and troubleshooting
Inverter diagnostic
Different building and safety jurisdiction requirements for permit submitting
Troubleshooting / monitoring
AC/DC troubleshooting
Battery storage
Network configuring
PTO and commissioning systems
Ability to measure roof arrays
Able to use most modern computer software and computers
Knowledge with Enphase, Solaredge, and Sunpower monitoring systems
Able to complete inspections for solar
Valid CA drivers license
Shading analysis
The ideal candidate must have the following:
1-2 years experience in site surveying/troubleshooting
1-2 years electrical troubleshooting experience
Good customer service skills
Sana-shoulding analysis
Must not be afraid of heights
Capable of carrying 50 lbs.
OSHA 10 certified
Able to set up ladder and climb 2 stories
