Ranch Hand, experienced with horses

Small private 5 acre Horse Barn with 5 horses. Looking for long term, live-in ranch hand, approx 30 hrs/week or more. Pay dependent on experience. House on site, and can trade work for housing. MUST HAVE horse experience. Preferred hours: Tuesday-Sunday 7am-11am and 5pm-6pm Requirements: -Experience with horses. -Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather -Can lift up to 80 pounds -Can drive tractor, and other equipment. -Background check -No smoking, No drugs. -Honest, reliable, punctual. -Can work independently and is a self starter. Highly motivated -References from previous Ranch hand work Duties: feed horses, muck and bed stalls, water, blanket, turnout, etc. Must be able to spot injury or colic. Maintain the property and barn. Maintain farm equipment. Drag and water indoor arena. Fence repair, mowing, watering, weeding, pasture management, hay, move snow when needed, other odd jobs. Handyman skills are a plus! Must be able to work independently and work all areas of the property/barn maintenance. Please email your experience/resume! Competitive compensation.
