The release of our very special whiskey collection - a tasting of rarities we've been saving to share! Join us at Palomino for our Cellar Release #2 - a special night bourbon featuring Buffalo Trace/Sazerac and food from the talented chefs of PIE Inc. During the pandemic shut down, we managed to collect a lot of very special and hard to find whiskies that we were unable to share with our whiskey fans. We are now releasing them in a series of fun evenings. Palomino's Cellar Release #2 features four incredible bourbons paired with a three course dinner (menu coming soon!) and a welcome cocktail crafted by PIE Inc, Beverage Director, Jordan Garris. - Buffalo Trace Straight Bourbon - Colonel E.H .Taylor Small Batch Bourbon - Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon - Van Winkle Special Reserve 12yr Bourbon A bourbon discussion will led by our friends from Buffalo Trace/Sazerac. Vegetarian and non-alcoholic versions of the evening are available - please email us after purchasing your ticket to let us know of your preference. **This dinner is reservation only and requires we pre-purchase ingredients and supplies for this evening - therefore we do need to keep a strict cancellation and refund policy. Refunds may be issued up to 7 days prior to the event. No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the event unless it is cancelled by us. If you are unable to attend last minute, you may give your ticket to another person to attend. We also will keep a waitlist - if we can give your ticket to a person on the waitlist, we will issue a refund. Valeri Lucks is the Owner and Chief Executive Pie Maker of Honeypie Cafe + Bakeshop, Palomino Bar and SmallPie in Milwaukee, WI.  Armed with her mother's pie crust recipe, she has been baking pies since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. Today, pies are the darlings of her locally-focused restaurants.  Valeri's recipes and pies have been featured in Food and Wine magazine, Travel and Leisure magazine, O Magazine, Time Out Chicago, Time Out USA, Milwaukee Magazine, OnMilwaukee.com, Milwaukee Journal Sentinal, Wisconsin Public Radio and the Discovery Channel's United States of Bacon.  When she is not baking pies she can be found sampling bourbon with her husband and playing records for her dogs.
