City on a Hill luncheon featuring speaker Camille Monk. Join us for an afternoon of inspiration and encouragement into a life of purpose.
City on a Hill seeks to end poverty in all its forms by engaging and empowering people with the spiritual, social, educational, and economic resources they need to realize their full potential, making transformational change possible in our community.
The organization serves as a catalyst working to save children, reach parents, and transform families in our central city neighborhoods to break the cycle of generational poverty. We do this by alleviating the burdens of chronic poverty, equipping young people to break the cycle of generational poverty, and engaging others in solutions to poverty through training and volunteerism.
SPEAKER: Camille Monk is a hometown Milwaukee girl and a sought-after preacher and motivational speaker. She is a serial entrepreneur with various thriving businesses. Every Monday morning you will find her live streaming a Biblically sound topical expression on her Monday Morning Reflections. She also appears on TMJ4 as their Etiquette Consultant (she has been called upon plenty during the pandemic to help others navigate this new world). It is her mission to disciple women into their purpose and calling in God.
Venue: Story Hill Firehouse-Historic and beautifully repurposed firehouse won the 2021 Shepherds Express Best of Milwaukee. Firehouse was built in 1927 and was active until 1998. One of five bungalow style firehouse in Wisconsin (so truly one of a kind!) This firehouse was considered "Old Engine House No. 35 & Ladder Co. 16" and now named Story Hill FireHouse and is a unique venue option.
