The Superintendent we are looking for will: coordinate, manage, and execute projects in the field within budget, schedule, and specifications. - Ensure all employees assigned to the project work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all procedures. - Attend all required project meetings. - Submit daily reports electronically via software application to the operations manager. - Enforce PPE protocol in field and fosters a safety focused culture. - Run daily toolbox talk meetings prior to the start of shift. - Work with the company safety representative and mitigate potential safety risks. - Responsible for accurately reporting hours worked for each field employee, as well as vehicles/equipment on job site. - Review project work plans, specifications, schedules, and budget with the Operations Manager prior to commencing the project. - Act as the face of the company in the field and meets or exceeds customer expectations in regard to quality and timely completion of contracted scope. - Track hours worked on change order scope. - Provide necessary training to all field employees assigned to the project. - Use company tablet to attend virtual meetings, submit data to management, and manage projects via project management software. Requirements - Minimum 3 years experience in the DOT/Heavy Civil construction industry (Road/Bridge/Infrastructure) - Excellent supervisory, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills - Must be comfortable with long-term travel up to 3 weeks at a time - Driver’s License with clean driving record. CDL-A strongly preferred - Pre-employment Physical and Drug Screen required.
