We are a family-owned business with a lot of room for growth to both the company and employees. This is for an immediate opening and fulltime work. Job Summary CAC Mechanical is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as an HVAC Estimator/Project Mgr. for our team. The candidate will be responsible for estimating bid proposals to general contractors and owners Duties and Responsibilities: • Preparing and managing bids residential and commercial projects • Take-offs and estimation of equipment, labor, and materials. • Experience in obtaining and evaluating material, equipment, and subcontractor quotes. • Writing proposals/bids. • Managing multiple bids simultaneously and evaluating changes through the bid process. • Prepare material listings for procurement and coordinate delivery time with project work schedule • Obtaining product, equipment and fixture quotations from vendors and wholesalers • Maintain effective verbal and written communication with the Project Manager, field, fabrication shop and General Contractor's/Owner's representative in order to execute work in an orderly and expeditious manner Education and Experience • Estimating experience residential and commercial projects. • Experience in the use of Fast duct and fast Pipe a plus. • Experience managing multiple bids through the entire bid process. • A strong background in HVAC knowledge a plus. • Highly skilled in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and bid documents • Ability to accurately compile a summary of materials, equipment, and labor. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
