A down and dirty, no frills, and all fun community swap for your gently used clothes, accessories, and small home goods/decor that no longer Save money, save the environment, keep garments with loads of life left in circulation and in the community! YOU BRING: gently used clothing and accessories that you no longer want or no longer servie you but whose life is not over yet) and swap with others for things you do want. Gender- and size-neutral items are highly encouraged! WE BRING: The space, the tools(racks, tables, bings), and the folks to help you SWAP IT! Event will feature onsite mending, food, and beverages (the adult kind). Clothing that is in good condition and wearable. MUST BE Clean, no smells, holes, or irreparable damage. Accessories include: Handbags, hats, bags, belts, shoes and jewelry (in good clean condition) Clothing that requires hanging (dresses, coats) MUST BE ON HANGERS - this helps them display and swap better. You can take your hangers home with you once swap is done or if hangers become available during the swap. It will be difficult to keep track of whose is whose, so feel comfortable donating the hangers you provide or choosing to not take others home. NO: Underwear, heavily worn shoes, dirty or irreparably damaged clothes BYOB - Bring your own bags!!!! Cost/Donation: FREE with a minimum of three items to enter or $10 at the door - donation entries are welcome! After the swap is over, your We Thieves are committed to donating highly wearable items that work for On The Rise Cambridge and to Cambridge Clothing and Textiles Recycling Start creating your stash and we'll start getting all the details in place so we can create a great event! Proceeds from entry fees will be donated to ON THE RISE, Cambridge. MORE DETAILS WILL BE ADDED AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE EVENT!
