Need A Skilled Technician Teacher

Jobs

Lexington MA

Description

I have just received a job opportunity for a tech company which allows me to pick and choose jobs based upon what I can do, when I'd like to work, and what the payout amount will be. There's just ONE small problem... I don't know anything about repairing anything. How did I receive the position? Don't ask. Here's where I get to the point. I need somebody who can teach me the ropes and help me learn how to do these jobs. There is a job board which posts many opportunities throughout the day. They list the appliance in need of diagnosis and repair, a description as to what is going on with the appliance (example: Oven only heats up to 200 after being set to 400 after 2 hours. Dishwasher not cleaning dishes, soap opens and is left at bottom of appliance. Etc. ) I am free to bid on whatever I choose, and schedule a diagnosis for whatever time I coordinate with the customer. I won't go on the classic Craigslist spiel about the guys I don't want (druggies, no-shows, millenials, old guys, etc). I am just looking for someone who is experienced in fixing the following:Dishwashers, Washers, Dryers, Refridgerators, Ovens. Cooktops, Freezer, Microwave, Range Hood, Trash Compactor, Styler, Air Conditioner, Dehumidifier, Vacuum. This line is to ensure you are actually reading this post through. If you have read this, please insert a *** into your text message. Compensation? Well, considering I don't know the field, I can't really throw any numbers out there. The standard payout for a diagnosis is $45. Obviously, the goal is to land the job. If that happens, we create the bid. My thought is that for repairs which are relatively simple and free of risk, perhaps you could teach me how to do something, and be available to walk me through troubleshooting if needed. Shoot me a price you think is fair, and we can take it from there. Another possibility is that you can come along to appointments with me (allowed by company). In these scenarios, I honestly don't care how much I'm making as much as how much I'm learning. Again, shoot me an offer you feel is fair, and we can take it from there. Most of my postings in the past have incurred an average of 30+ responses. If I receive a text saying 'Hey I heard about that repair job', I'll ignore it. If i receive one saying 'What you pay???' I'll block your number. If you'd like me to respond, give me some detail as to who you are, and why I should give you a call to speak more. I'm not looking for an auto-biography. By all means, you can write as much as you'd like. If you provide me a couple of sentences, I'll at least do you the courtesy of responding. Thank you, and I look forward to your responsesl
