Description
We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team! Our building is newly constructed and we are looking to hire someone to provide the overall repair and maintenance of the building located in Seekonk, MA. Position also includes custodial duties. Hours are flexible (some hours need to be during business hours). Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): Maintaining the equipment and building infrastructure at our center including performing a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, drywall, structural elements, including parking lot and sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clears drain stoppages, interior and exterior lighting including lamp, fuse and ballast replacement. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, relative to the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and physical structural elements of the center Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property Performs day-to-day cleaning services to ensure a sanitary, attractive facility, which may include Cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, and washing floors, using appropriate equipment and supplies to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the clinic in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Dusts, polishes and washes interior surfaces such as windows, furniture, walls, ceilings, etc., using appropriate supplies and equipment in order to maintain the building in a clean and orderly condition. Cleans toilets, lavatories, washrooms, mops closets, etc., using appropriate supplies and equipment in order to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of such areas. Empties and relines trash and recycling receptacles. Arranges and moves furniture and supplies as needed. Order office supplies and/or cleaning supplies as needed. Ensure walkways are clear and safe for clients and their families. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials Responsibilities can include getting into tight spaces, walking on elevated platforms, lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs Must Haves: Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to communicate effectively with a diverse group of employees, supervisors and visitors. Skilled in the ability to follow oral and written instructions/directions. Talent for establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships and dealing tactfully with others. Working knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in general institution/clinic housekeeping work. Demonstrated language skills that allow for two-way communication, effective patient service, coordination with other members of the patient care team.
