She is 100% potty trained. Kennel trained. Only barks when people knock or strangers come onto property. Is great with people, children and babies. The Baby here sits and climbs on her with no reaction. Is good with puppies and nonaggressive dogs. Isn’t aggressive but is very protective of her family and property. She is an inside dog only and can only go to a home where she is inside and with people. She has been raised with stay at home/work from home grandparents with two homeschool children so she is extremely used to being in a family pack. I’d love to see her go to another stay at home family with children or a retired family so she isn’t left alone for long periods or kept outside. She gets withdrawn and depressed when left alone a lot or put outside for to long. (Discovered this when we went on vacation and had a dog sitter/walker come two to 3 times a day to walk and care for her.) She goes to the door to be let out and scratches or barks to be let inside. I have to rehome this lovely, sweet, affectionate, girl because I am an older Grandmother raising two grandchildren and recently had my 20 month old granddaughter placed with me as family placement. I simply cannot handle 3 kids, home school, and three dogs. I have chosen to rehome this one because she is will make a wonderful companion and be an asset to any family. ( Because she is Cur, she likes to stalk and chase down my free range chickens and sometimes our cat. She never injuries them, but will hold them down by the neck and release them as soon as they are still. She has never injured anything. She also loves to chase wild animals off our property…fox, rabbits, possum and so on. I can let our two small dogs out in the yard with her because she will protect them from predators.) Her one annoying habit is whining. (if she is in her kennel and the kids go outside without her, or we are sitting near her kennel she whines to sit at our feet. ) She knows basic commands, is trained not to enter kitchen or get on furniture unless she is invited by someone to get on their bed.
