In this seminar, we seek to educate, and inspire youth from both sides of the political arena; by having a diverse set of speakers from both the Republican and the Democratic party to speak to youth ages 14-30 in this bi-partisan political discussion that will offer our next generation the mindset to be the next leaders. We will have tables set up outside that candidates can use for volunteer sign ups, lit distribution, etc. Food catering will be provided by Fadi's Mediterranean Grill. The event will take place inside Iman Academy (SW Campus) 6200 S Texas 6, Houston, TX 77083 on Saturday, 12 February 2022 at 5:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. and the program will commence at 5:30 p.m. We would like to request you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the program. We will commence the evening with the national anthem, followed by having our speakers give a brief presentation about themselves for 5-10 minutes to our youth. Are you confused by all the buttons, settings and menus? Do you leave your camera on AUTO and hope for the best? Or do you just resort to using your phone’s camera instead? If you've answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then I might just be able to help you! Beginners' photography workshop My informal workshop is aimed at the complete beginner and is designed to help you get the most out of your DSLR camera and to get you creating the images you want.  If you would you love to  capture action shots of your kids or pets well get sharp, in-focus images every time get that lovely blurry background in your photos understand how to get well-exposed pictures get off AUTO mode once and for all ... ... then this workshop is for you!   The day workshop runs from 10 am to 3 pm and includes tea, coffee, and home-made cakes, plus a delicious lunch. Spaces are limited to 8 people per workshop. To book, please click here WHO IS THE DSLR WORKSHOP FOR? This workshop is aimed at the complete beginner; it’s my job to get you understanding what’s going on with the camera and how to get it off AUTO mode and over to full manual mode.  We can do it!   NB: This workshop will not suit anyone wanting to start a business in photography but is perfect if you want to get off the ground as a hobbyist. The workshop is also suitable for anyone over 16 years of age. WHAT DO I NEED? A DSLR or mirrorless camera - this is one you can change the lenses on and has settings like A or Av, S or Tv, P, and M.   A fully charged battery and empty SD cards Warm clothing - part of the workshop will be outside, so come prepared for this. If the weather is bad, there is a Plan B! a notepad and pen your camera's manual WHAT WILL I LEARN? This 5-hour course is a perfect balance of theory and practice and we will cover the basics such as your camera and how to take control of it exposure, what is it and how to nail it aperture and how to use it to your advantage shutter speed ISO focus finding and using natural light basic composition NB: Photoshop is not covered in this workshop HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
