Sensory friendly morning at VINS! This sensory friendly event is designed to create a welcoming experience for all, including people with autism, sensory processing challenges, and other disabilities. VINS is opening an hour early and limiting admission during the Sensory Friendly event. Doors open at 9am. At 9:30 we will enjoy a sensory friendly animal encounter in the outdoor classroom. Families are then welcome to explore the accessible Forest Canopy Walk, Raptor Exhibits, and Nature Trails. At 10am VINS will open to the public but you may stay as long as you like until 5pm. THIS EVENT IS FREE & BY RESERVATION ONLY. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND, PLEASE LET US KNOW SO THAT WE CAN PASS YOUR TICKET ONTO SOMEONE ELSE! Because we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of our Nature Center, we offer reduced admission to those who need it most.
