Busy commercial HVAC mechanical company is seeking a shop helper. Grow your career in HVAC with us - we design, we manufacture, we install, we service. Applicant should have work experience in sheet metal industry (prefer HVAC) and or other sources (metal buildings per say) or bench work (shop helper for HVAC) with a minimum of 1 year experience, Must have reliable transportation, plus a current valid NDL and an OSHA 10 at minimum. Must have good attendance record at prior employer and authorized to work in the USA Must have basic sheet metal tools and understand how to use them safely. Must be able to speak, read and write in English Must be able to multi task; balance project build needs; and work at a varied pace. Some training is understood and will be provided, but the applicant should be able to take direction from supervisor and work well both with a team and or alone. The shift is Monday through Friday, 6 am start (some days earlier, some days require additional hours); and some ability to work Saturdays if needed and be able to start a shift at 6am. The more you know the more we will offer per hour. Ex: Man lift certified, brazing, welding certified, prior sheet metal fabrication experience, OSHA 30, forklift, plumbing, installation - every extra is a consideration for extra. We are a drug free work place, Covid vaccination is encouraged but not required, proper wearing of PPE is required and safety policies are always enforced.
