During Black history month we will celebrate Black creatives within the local community. Join us for food, fun & networking!
The “Great Resignation” of the COVID pandemic has led to more entrepreneurs than ever; it has also increased mental health awareness and self care focus. Introducing the concept of mental health and how it aligns with your success has led us to hosting our first Black History event; ROOTs: Realizing Our Opportunities Together a Black Excellence Exhibition. During Black History month we will celebrate Black Creatives in the RDU. We will host this networking event at one of the newest Durham co-working spaces, Durham Bottling Co. Where we'll introduce the public to Black Businesses and talent from right here in our local community while providing an educational mental health workshop and/or panel. Our mission for this event is to provide a platform for creatives to showcase their products or services, educational workshops and vendor opportunities that will address mental health wellness. We will also utilize a pre and post survey to identify the needs of entrepreneurs and the state of their mental health. This design will support the new co-working space and the mission of the QMF agency. We expect that by creating this unique event.
This event is sponserd by QMF Production, Lunar Heights, Think Garden, Together Is Everything, & Roletape
