Successful Aging AZ's 4th Annual Dementia Conference - Providing Real Tools for Everyday Living -"Discovering New Pathways for Dementia Care"Get ready to be empowered - This conference is specifically designed for people and families living with dementia. Early, middle, later stage - we all need awareness of where individuals are in their journey as well as skill to be able to care for others when they can't take of themselves. How many doctors/professionals have shared HOW to take care of your loved ones? That's what we do. We provide the tools you need: understanding what loved ones are experiencingskill to know the best approach as it will change for different situationsawareness that we are the ones that will be constantly changing to meet their needs adaptive, supportive physical tools/gadgets to assist you to keep them safer how to use music to support daily tasks and enhance engagementopportunities to meet with vendors who provide supportive services that can become a part of your teamMost family members don't consider themselves caregivers - you're just 'doing the right thing.' Understood, but in the end the entire circle of loved ones become caretakers in some capacity. Dementia is a family disease because it does affect everybody. The issues you deal with require some knowledge and a team. FREE CARE at The Perfect Place (just a mile or so from the conference site.
