Scriptoria is an interfaith writing workshop, a collaboration between Aquinas College, Calvin University, and Cornerstone University. Scriptoria Website Pre Workshop: June 6: Participants submit their workshop submission The Workshop Week --see Scriptoria Website for agenda Lectures through the day serve different purposes: The Writing Life: explore writing habits and strategies, creative care, or topical concerns Editor’s Chat: conversations with editors about vital issues Genre Focus: explanation, development, focus on particular genres Craft Applications: examine a craft element with exercises Lunch for Scriptoria attendees is an optional additional charge. Please be sure to order it as you check out. There are lunch options near each campus. Dinner on Wednesday evening at Gary Schmidt's home is included. Overnight Accommodations: Participants may contact Prince Conference Center located on Calvin University's campus and also at the Hilton Gardens Inn Grand Rapids East, Participants should contact the hotel directly to make reservations.
