WAUWATOSA, WI—Wauwatosa police responded to several calls for service. Here are a few highlights from the police log from Jan. 17 to Jan. 20. A catalytic converter was taken off a 2006 Kia Sedona on Jan. 17 in the 9100 block of West North Avenue. A person reported $10,900 taken on Jan. 17 from numerous unauthorized deposits and withdrawals from a personal checking account. One person was arrested for retail theft on Jan. 17 at Home Depot, 4100 N. 124th St. The loss was $1,082 in merchandise. A man was arrested in the parking lot of Sarafino Square, 9991 W. North Ave on Jan. 17. The arrest came after a police pursuit and crash. The man fled after the crash but was located. A car window was broken out on Jan. 20 at Children's Wisconsin parking structure. A purse with credit cards was taken. A car window was broken out and a purse was stolen on Jan. 20 in the Medical College of Wisconsin parking structure. The suspects used several of the victim's credit cards at Mayfair Mall.
