St. Joseph High School Hosts NCAA Signing/Commitment Day Ceremony

On January 27, 2022, St. Joseph High School (Trumbull) hosted a celebratory event for sixteen student-athletes who signed their National Letters of Intent or Celebratory Letters in six different sports. The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is used to indicate a student's commitment to participate in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) colleges and universities. It is a binding agreement between a student and an NLI member institution. The Celebratory Letter (for Division III athletes) is used to indicate that a student has been accepted to and plans to attend an institution. "Their hard work and commitment, both academically and athletically, are incredible achievements and we wish them all the best as they begin their collegiate lives." As part of their NLI, student-athletes agree to attend the institution full-time for one academic year and the institution agrees to provide athletes financial aid for one academic year.
