Press release from the Montgomery County Department of Police: January 25, 2022 Update: January 26, 2022 - William David Asbury III has been located safe and unharmed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing teenager from Kensington. William David Asbury III, age 14, was last seen on January 21, 2022 in the 10700 block of Shaftsbury Street. Asbury is approximately 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and pierced ears. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, black jeans, black shoes and carrying a red Nike backpack. Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
