Press release from the Montgomery County Department of Police: January 25, 2022 Update: January 26, 2022 - William David Asbury III has been located safe and unharmed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing teenager from Kensington. William David Asbury III, age 14, was last seen on January 21, 2022 in the 10700 block of Shaftsbury Street. Asbury is approximately 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and pierced ears. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, black jeans, black shoes and carrying a red Nike backpack. Police and family are concerned for his welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of William David Asbury III is asked to call the Montgomery County Police SVID at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
