Santa Claus Is Coming to the Greek International Food Market December 19 and 20 Drive by and wave or sign up for a socially distanced call with Santa himself West Roxbury, MA—December 3, 2020—Ho ho ho! With the help of the Greek International Food Market, West Roxbury, even COVID-19 can’t keep Santa Claus and children apart. On December 19 and 20, the market is making it easy and safe for children to greet or share their holiday wishes with Santa through two separate and free events: Santa Wave By: Saturday, December 19, from 12-2 pm, Santa will be waving to families outside the market, located at 5204 Washington Street, as they drive by in their cars.Calls from Santa: Sunday, December 20 from 12-3 pm, Santa will make personal calls to children ages two through 12 from the market. Families must sign up in advance due to popular demand. Online registration is available at facebook.com/GreekInternational, where families can click to an online form. “We’re excited to bring the magic of the holiday season to young families despite the pandemic. Childhood only happens once!” said Katerina Iliades, CEO. Though both events are free, the Greek International Food Market is encouraging families to make the holidays even more meaningful through a donation to a deserving nonprofit. This year, the market will be giving to LiKen, founded by Christina Pendleton of Dedham, which helps teens who are displaced due to their parents’ substance use disorders.
