Full-time Opening for a New Car Check-In Lot Porter to join our elite new car sales departments with Sunset Chevrolet-Buick-GMC in Sarasota. This is a unique position that facilitates the efficient turnaround of new vehicles from delivery to being ready for sale. Lot Porter-Attendant Duties As the new car check-in porter for Sunset Chevrolet, you will be responsible for the new car deliveries from rolling in on a truck to being inventoried. Duties include: Checking in new vehicles from carrier trucks, assessing damage, and parking on back lot for prep Finding and organizing accessories that need added/installed on new vehicles and providing to installer Organize vehicles on the back lot and transfer to prep Completing paperwork and submitting to accounting for inventory Coordinate with detail manager and sales managers to prioritize orders Attend all scheduled shifts on time Other duties assigned to assist in the operation of the dealership Lot Attendant-Porter Requirements Lot porters at Sunset must be dependable, have excellent driving skills, and a desire to do what is necessary to keep things running. Other requirements include: Candidate must have a valid driver's license and verifiable work history Physical ability to work outside most of the day including extensive walking between dealership buildings and the lot Previous dealer experience a plus Ability to juggle multiple demands from various sales departments Must pass background screen and drug test, Drug Free Workplace Sunset Automotive Group Benefits This is a full-time position with full-time benefits as well as the opportunity to grow with the company.
