Detention staff, along with detention facility medical staff, immediately started chest compressions.   Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Services and the Wichita Fire Department arrived on scene and took over life saving measures. At approximately 10:25 P.M., the inmate was declared deceased by Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Services. This press release was produced by the Sedgwick County Kansas Sheriff's Office.
