Busy General Contractor - Specialized Services Division seeking an experienced, talented Handyman to join our growing team! Skilled hands and technical knowledge are necessary, but there's more than that required. You must be a true team player and you must possess and be able to demonstrate strong general repair skills. You should be company driven and have a strong willingness/desire to advance/grow. Our standards are high. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job. Organizational skills, attention to detail, computer skills, exceptional communication skills, and customer relations skills are a must! Key Competencies Required: Proven experience as handyman Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment Understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems Math skills Excellent communication ability Tech savvy /able to utilize tablet/computer. Well-organized and adept in problem-solving Attention to detail General knowledge of Residential minor home repairs Hand tool knowledge and skills Parts and material function and installation Day to day scheduling and operations. High school diploma or equivalent preferred Decent Driving Record needed Regular Attendance is mandatory, excessive absenteeism will not be tolerated. Experience: 5 years in home repair Must be able to lift 50 lbs., regularly, be able to climb, bend, stretch, squat, maneuver into odd positions on occasion, stand for long periods of time, be comfortable with the use of ladder,/scaffolding, spend periods in seated position and working on computer programs, driving.
