Seasoned musician (salt, pepper, oregano) looking to join an existing band or form something from scratch. I play guitar and bass well and sing a bit. I’ve got pro gear. Requirements: • Cool tunes. I don’t wanna play what every other band plays. I like a variety of rock, pop, prog and alternative. WHFS was my jam in the 80s/90s. Also into prog (Rush, Yes, Crimson). • Good players. I wanna sound like the record. I learn parts note for note. Solos too. You should be able to do this. • Cool folks. I’m cool in a nerdy way. I like to put on a show. Do the rock moves. But no egos, control freaks, substance abusers, or ultra-right wing Kool-Aid drinkers. • Commitment to excellence. I’d like to rehearse as a band once a week until we have a repertoire under our belts. I’d like to ultimately play out at least monthly. I’d be up for a concept/tribute band, maybe doing three sets of a different band each set. Maybe something like U2/Police/Cure or something.
