DETROIT — Michigan State Police said they made an arrest in connection to a Thursday morning Detroit freeway shooting. Officials closed the northbound lanes on the Lodge Freeway near Warren Road in Detroit to investigate a Thursday morning shooting, officials said. Troopers interviewed a woman who said someone fired shots at her vehicle while she was driving on the freeway, officials said. The woman was not injured in the shooting. Troopers determined the shooting was not a random incident, but rather a domestic assault. State police also closed the eastbound and westbound Davison ramps to the southbound Lodge Freeway on Thursday morning as they investigate the shooting and collect evidence. The freeway has reopened since.
