Press release from the City of Rochester:
January 25, 2022
(Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022) – Mayor Malik D. Evans announced today that all processing fees associated with remitting payments to the City through the eCitizen online payment portal have been waived until the end of February 2022. The waiver does not apply to the payment of traffic infractions at the City's Traffic Violation Agency.
"By waiving our eCitizen portal processing fees, we hope to encourage more residents to make payments online and decrease foot traffic within City Hall in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19," said Mayor Evans.
The eCitizen online payment portal, located at www.cityofrochester.gov/payments, can be used to pay water and tax bills, parking tickets, and alarm permit fees. For more information, contact 311 or the City's Finance Department office at (585) 428-7151.
