Using a mix of online learning, classroom training and hands on mentorship, you’ll learn how to: -Grow a successful, multimillion-dollar business-Nurture talent and lead a team-Inspire others Key Responsibilities: Model, coach and uphold Starbucks cash handling policies Model, coach and uphold the Starbucks dress code Delegate tasks to other partners and/or coordinate tasks of two or more partners Accountable for store operations while managing a shift Display a customer comes first attitude by delivering legendary customer service Provide coaching and direction to the store team to take action and to achieve operational goals Demonstrate a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep store operating to established standards and to set a positive example for the store team Delegate appropriate responsibilities and practices to store partners to ensure smooth flow of operations with input and guidance from store manager Implement and communicate company program plans to store team in order to meet operational and organizational objectives Constantly review store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality Summary of Experience: Customer service and retail experience (2 years preferred) Experience directing the work of others (1 year preferred) Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Strong operational skills; ability to manage store operations, including multiple situations in a fast-paced environment, independently - Ability to manage resources to ensure that established service levels are achieved at all times during assigned shift - Strong supervisory, teambuilding, and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others - Ability to deliver customer service that meets or exceeds customer needs - Effective interpersonal and communication skills - Organization, planning, and prioritization skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information - Proficiency using Microsoft Office, store computer systems and programs Apply online at: starbucks.com/careers.
