Caring family located in Rancho Santa Fe (92067), seeking a dedicated and doting care provider for their infant son, a month old at the time of this post. Family is seeking someone who walks into their home with a great attitude and a loving, happy disposition. The ideal candidate is someone high energy, active and able to adjust their methods of care in ways that stimulate positive development, as the child grows. Traveling is extremely important to this family, so they are looking for a care provider who is available to travel with them for weeks at a time. Live-in optional for the right person, but not required. Schedule: M - F Hours: 8am - 4pm (end time may vary depending on family needs) Pay: $25-$30/hr (live-out) $75,000 - $78,000/yr (live-in) Benefits: Medical costs to be reimbursed Must be an experienced candidate who will care for their son as their own. They are looking for someone who will provide a safe and loving environment for their child. In addition to childcare, the role will require light household duties like, but not limited to: light tidying and laundry, tidying of play areas the child will occupy, and cleaning bottles as needed. Must also be knowledgeable of safe sleep practices for infants and toddlers. You must have an in-depth knowledge of child development and stages of growth. You must be capable of maintaining a routine schedule for a baby, especially one centered around feeding. Must be okay with pets (2 labrador retrievers) Duties: Light Laundry Light tidying of main areas, and play areas child will occupy Maintain a feeding schedule for baby Adhere to a sleeping schedule for baby Preparing and cleaning bottles Able to adjust diet as baby grows (i.e introducing new foods, as diet will expand as child grows) Play centered around sensory play and development of gross motor skills (i.e tummy time) Healthy and active - must take little one out on walks, outside/backyard play and parks as he grows Must Haves: COVID Vaccinated TDap Vaccine CPR & First Aid training Clean driving record, no DUI or DWI Non-Smoker 3+ years of nanny experience 3+ years of Newborn Be able to provide 3 - 5 supervisory references
