THIS IS PART TIME * ON CALL * DELIVERY AND SET UP OF TRAFFIC SAFETY EQUIPMENT *
Paid training $16/hr with review after 90 days.
Pay rate is *higher* for those with traffic control experience.
This is a 1099 independent contractors position. Using *COMPANY TRUCK* (setting up Road Work Signs, Barricades, Traffic Cones, etc)
The ideal candidate for this position must meet the following requirements:
* Able to answer your cell phone and be available to work flexible schedules when needed. (days, nights, weekends, anytime) Please note this is a ON-CALL position with no set schedule.
* Able to communicate in clear English.
* Have a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record and present a DMV print out. (Class C license ok)
* Able to lift 50 lbs, climb in and out of trucks to load, off- load, and setup traffic safety equipment. (experience in traffic control setting up lane closures, street closures, flagging, etc is a plus)
* Live within 20 minutes from down town Los Angeles.
* 21 years or older with at least 2 years of delivery driving experience using google maps for finding locations. (able to read a map is a plus)
* Must have a great attitude and be honest, dependable, early to work, energetic, with MEMORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
* Pass a drug test and background check and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
