Building & Equipment Maintenance Technician
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Assist in maintenance and repair of PCLIs buildings and equipment.
STATUS Full Time
ORGANIZATION Reports to Building and Equipment Director
RESPONSIBILITIES Duties may include but not be limited to:
Fleet vehicle maintenance - oil and tire changesĀ
Maintain equipment storage and inventory tracking system.
Assist in equipment and building repairs.
Help maintain equipment repair database containing problems and solutions.
Clean and maintain repair workstations and reorder supplies as needed.
Perform light construction projects.
Other duties as required by Building and Equipment Director.
SCHEDULE
Monday Thursday 7:45:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Intermediate knowledge of construction, basic carpentry, electrical, & electronics
Light vehicle maintenance
Computer skills
Ability to learn independently from manuals and experimentation
Excellent organizational skills
Pleasant, cooperative attitude
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Ability to lift 100 pounds
Good visual acuity
Climb stairs
Reach and stoop to level of storage shelves
Ability to ride in small aircraft
Some overnight travel required
