Job description Commercial Mechanical HVAC company is looking to hire a pipefitter / commercial plumber for Hydronic mechanical equipment. Chillers, Fan Coils, VAVs, etc., constructing/fabricating and maintaining steel/copper pipe systems. Experience in HVAC & wet side installation, manufacturing, and or start-up is a plus. Applicants are expected to: understand and know how to interpret blueprints for layout, installation, material requirements and pipe joining. Strong numeric/mathematic skills and communication skills are a must. Must be able to document progress and redline project drawings accurately for submitting to general contractors. Applicants are expected to have knowledge and experience in pneumatic and hydraulic tools following safety guidelines. Welding, brazing, assembling, and lubricating as required by material type is a must know. Applicants should have experience in various pipe types (PVC, Steel, etc.), cutting, grooving, joining, problem solving, and pipe securing within commercial code is required. Determining malfunctions, testing functionality of hydraulic (Hydronic) and other systems a plus. Knowledge of installing Quick Vic "shark bite" fittings is a plus. Team skills are valuable, collaborating with other trades, staying on schedule and completing daily work reports is required. OSHA 30 is preferred (or commit to obtain within 45 days of hire) OSHA 10 required Must have Basic tools to perform required work for which you are applying for. Reliable transportation, willing to work, night shift/weekends if/or when needed. Must be able to follow direction from company Peers. Man Lift certification, ladder safety, tools use, PPE OSHA, valid drivers license, English/Spanish speaking(+), ability to read/write/input in phone App required (timecard/work tickets/project communication management) Job Type: Full-time - Apply with resume on line (preferred), or in person Monday - Thursday noon to 4 PM. Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: All Team Members are required to wear PPE on job sites and public spaces. Vaccinations and booster are recommended but not required.
