Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Respond to all maintenance service requests by tenants, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general
maintenance in a timely manner.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks to all common areas and units
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community areas daily
• Prepare the vacant units for occupancy
• Communicate and interact with staff and tenants in a courteous and professional manner at all times
• Work as part of a team and represent the community in a professional manner at all times
• Complete work orders and turn in paperwork in a timely fashion
• Provide excellent and timely customer service to residents
• Resolve electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, installations, service and replacements in a responsible and
professional manner that meets industry standards as needed by the apartment community.
Skills needed, Including but not limited to:
• Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses
• Installing Light fixtures
• Installation and minor repairs of appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals,
washers and dryers
• Caulking
• Minor carpentry repairs
• Window screens and blinds
• Interior and exterior doors
• Painting and Drywall repair
• Removing Bulk Trash
• Clearing drains and sewer lines
Must have valid driver’s license and own transportation
Must have your own tools
General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service
Apartment maintenance experience a plus
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb ladders
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
