Avid Services is searching for a highly motivated commercial concrete estimator. Responsibilities will include: -Quantity takeoffs -Prepare weekly bids and ensure timely completion of estimates. -Review construction documents, evaluate requests for estimates and understand scope of work to bid. -Communicate with general contractors, architects and engineers. -Read and understand construction drawings and specifications. -Maintain and update bid tracking sheet and lead tracking sheet. -Other duties as may be assigned. -Ability to be proficient with estimating software, spreadsheet software, excel, word and the use of the internet. -Field experience is a plus.
