This baby was purchased in July 2021. Its about 7 months old. It's growing and eating well. I track weights monthly and can provide its weight chart if desired. It was originally purchased from Strictly Reptiles in Florida. They sold it as a melanistic tortoise. It's not truly melanistic as it still has red on his legs and head, but it's parents have very black shells which is unique for redfoots. Its shell should darken as it ages. I have 3 other redfoots and have decided to rehome this one to thin down my collection. Email if interested. It does not come with an enclosure, but I recommend just using plastic tubs. They work so well for babies and are pretty cheap. I currently have it in a PVC enclosure.
