Job Overview:
Midway Auto Parts is seeking an Inventory Specialist to work at our facility. This person will be responsible for assessing a vehicle for damage and determining which parts are viable for resale. The ideal candidate will be able to think critically, has an automotive/estimate background, and can work well independently.
Requirements:
- Must have some automotive mechanical/automotive body knowledge
- Must be able to use a computer and navigate the internet
- Must have entry level Excel skills or willing to learn
- Actual body shop/estimating experience is a plus
- Must be able to use smaller handheld devices
- Must understand supply and demand
- Open to change
- Must be able to make quick decisions
- Must be willing to learn and jump to any position in the company to help out
- Must have good phone and good people skills
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Must have a license and be able to drive to auctions
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Automotive Knowledge is a must!
